It is not CBS but their owner, Paramount. So to allow Paramount to merge with Skydance Media, they have to get the blessing from the FTC and the FCC, both in the hands of EL Orange's minions. To allow the merger Paramount has to bow down and do the bidding of Rump. Rump does not like Colbert.

Daytime it is to the weather channel, night time we are looking at a baseball game while listening to it on the radio (WTWX or WCNN via stream or KDKA FM via stream) or a hockey game via a live stream.
