I get that! It's a complicated thing as to why people do so ofc and many people wouldn't even consider it, which is good!! It's a good thing you feel that way honestly

It's usually because it gets to someone's head so badly due to unresolved and untreated trauma

It's unfortunate why it happens so much but no matter the case it's always terrible of someone to do.. it just makes someone experience what happened to them and possibly even repeat the cycle :(

Ofc there isn't any excuse so I'm not gonna try to excuse it or anything but from what I understand it tends to be that many rapists feel they need to take back some power that was taken from them at some point (often times their own SA trauma)

Dovewing is described with three eye colors throughout her time in the series cuz unfortunately the authors could not remember it for the life of them, but it has been green eyes for awhile now so it's pretty much what her eyes are
