She’s a very special artist! Do check out her first 2 albums, originally released on tape but did a 2LP vinyl version last year. She also released a gorgeous tape on Ruptured last year. I find her work almost unbearably sad - like there’s a brutal honesty regarding the sadness of the world.

It’s such a thrill to see this. Yara had not thought about releasing her music before I contacted her during lockdown - she saw herself primarily as a filmmaker and puppeteer & made the music to accompany her short films. Since then we’ve made 3 albums together. Always a privilege to work with her 😊
