I am looking to connect w/ an old friend from a play-by-post RPG forum called Mythweavers. They went by the name "Renzel" back then, used to talk all the time before drifting away in college. I'd love to try and get in touch with them again.

Yea, i opted to pay to try and get someone to help focus me and guide me. We're kind of working on that, plus closing the space in my mouth to produce a higher tone? and its just not coming to me and its driving me a bit nuts

I don't really have an issue with collectors editions or multiple forms of an album as a product, but there's also a measure of scale and "portion size" here. 20-some version of an album (including post-release additions w/in the first two weeks) takes that from being artistic vision to marketing

like what the fuck is the point of this? "oh they have a good point about how much it sucks to raise a kid" That's insane! They don't care about raising kids, they care about bodies being used for reproduction and framing it in a way that doesn't come across as plainly manipulative as it is!

I am actually very strongly in favor of artists revisting their work, trying to re-craft and re-sculpt them to better fit and suit their vision of it! But this isn't that, this is like a predatory maximalization of clicks type shit. Of getting people to purchase multiple times, not artistic vision.

Learning there's like 22 version of the "album" that you can purchase has this nauseating effect. I don't rly have the words to describe what I see as the integrity of what an Album is, but when it becomes something more akin to a multi-package collectible, something has jumped for me.

I have a single take on taylor swift rn, that while I never really had deep held issues w/ her as a celebrity or the foundation of her success as an artist who is ultimately chameleon to a given moment, I do have a more significant objection to her current album being sold like prolific FOMO bundles

I don't wanna generalize about a handful of PFs but I do feel like "True North" / "Relative" are two terms that XIV players really, chronically do not understand. Probably in part because relative can be quite conditional (ironic, i guess) to what is variable in a mechanic/execution.

Someone explain TN towers to me because I feel like I understand it but then other people act wild and I'm doubting myself by what it means (and also i think it is insane choice to do)
