This time I tried to not look at my paper super attentively, small glances to make sure im drawing in the general area but trying to mostly look at my other hand and discern the proportions and direction
And then id fill in the details by looking at my paper more directly

I tried to focus on proportions instead of making the lines look nice (tho I think the wiggly lines have their own charm when it's part of a whole scene)

I always thought it was just a learning method or making a pretty drawing, but the best part is how my perception of time slows down and im not thinking about ten different things constantly, just a simple process of staring and drawing

finally got an example to show the shading difference between my cellshade comms and my standard (full rendered) comms!
and to show the different lineart style i use for flatcolor comms compared to when i shade or fully render my comms!
