12 centrist candidates in Macau's Legislative Assembly election have been disqualified by the Committee for Safeguarding National Security because the candidates will "neither uphold…" nor bear allegiance" to Macau & its constitution. The decision cannot be challenged or appealed.

Ma Wut Yee Aung, a 25 year old, executive member of the Dagon University Students’ Union, died today (July 20, 2025) in Insein Prison, as a result of torture during interrogation & denial of medical care while imprisoned by the Junta in Myanmar.
