Why are the Democrats in the Senate not blocking votes of confirmation? Where is the resistance? Why are any of these appointments getting Democratic votes toward confirmation. This doesn’t seem like the time for cooperation and conciliation—this is the time for resistance.

In 2016, Ds had majorities in 29 state legislatures & 6 Dem trifectas. Going into 2025, Ds have 40+ state leg majorities & 15 trifectas!
