Xcel Energy spends their income on shareholders, not infrastructure. Public utilities here in Colorado don't have a problem with wind like we have seen.

$9.93 of that was for the actual gas. The rest was for infrastructure and taxes.
Also... Here in Colorado there are hundreds of fracked wells where the methane is flared at the wellhead.
