Chromecast Gen2 back up and working (UK) after Google update fixed the "untrusted device" issue from 9th March! 🙂
Keep the #Chromecast powered up and try the occasional restart (power off/on) if you don't see the update (orange LED).
Problem made worse due to poor communications from Google ☹️
