actually beat this last year but came back to finish the post game. this game has a problem with not explaining its rules well and also taking logical leaps and trying to gotcha the player far too often. the post game seemed better to me at first but unfortunately runs into the same issues

christ. boring af, the mechanics are bad, the gameplay is 90% hold left/right. you'd think at least it's "beautiful" but to me it felt shallow, esp the music. there r way better relaxing games out there. and the awful chapter select making missable achievements a chore was a punch in the face

Death's Door (replay/100%)
it has good and bad moments and the bad take away a lot. the tone is all over the place, you have to go out of your way to make the game fun and nonlinear, for the amount of walking it has you move too slow. type of game to play only when you run out of anything else imo

people seem to love this one but personally I'm more of a between 2 worlds girlie . a lot of the songs just don't sound that good, I can see why I always skipped them back in the day . also why does innocence sound like anus

holy fuck this game is dogshit ! jokes aside once you get past its age it does genuinely become fun and i could leave it at that if it wasn't for about 10% of it being just horrible. like it's so fucking bad it feels like ragebait. overall i don't regret playing it though

the game was really good at first, but the few extremely unfair and/or plainly unfun moments paired with wonky pacing really sour the whole experience
it's much better than the first HK but i don't think i ever want to play this again

Blown Away by the fact this is 2007. production is super high quality, backgrounds especially are stunning. i really liked the direction, the way sound is used I've never seen in any other anime I think. the story was intriguing though maybe not very satisfying. high key watch it

i was put off by the vocals because i was expecting instrumental & the flow they have is nearly identical but towards the middle i warmed up to it. there's a few cool songs but most weren't memorable for me.. even after another listen I'm not sure how to feel about it
