A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engle was a fantasy find when I was young. I read it again twice as an adult and found new insights and just as much fun and satisfaction in her tale.

I loved The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey when I was young. Her world building delighted and carried me away. I want to do the same thing for readers when I write fiction.

Louise Erdrich. The Round House. She's another vivid, gripping writer. Pick up any of her books and you'll see what I mean.
