This color digital photograph shows the Theatre Bar in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. I also captured this image with a Holga camera and can't wait to develop the film. It was a "Holy Grail" shot, perfectly timed and fortunate, as there was no car in front of the building. If we’re being honest, that’s what photography is all about—timing and luck.

This Polaroid photo features a person standing in the center of the frame, facing the viewer with their hands raised to their face to shield against the sun. It's a photo of my friend's daughter, who was helping me carry my cameras for the day. Having assistance is rare for me, so this was a delightful treat.

I've never tried letting one sit in water for weeks. Thank you! Very interesting. Love the results you are getting.

I have a question: Are you lifting emulsion from older Polaroids, or are these recent shots? I've had trouble lifting emulsion from Polaroids I took five or six years ago, but newer ones, even expired film, work fine for me.

Thank you! I just lock in as best as I can. Can't shoot in New York with a tripod unless you have a permit. Plus, I never like those things anyway. Love your work.

This photograph was taken from the Staten Island Ferry and showcases a view of the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor. Silhouettes of people are visible in the foreground.

It was captured using Rollei Redbird, a 35mm redscale color negative film known for its unique warm, reddish tones, which are achieved by shooting the film backwards through the base side. The film has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 400/27°. The intensity of the red color cast can be controlled by overexposure; more overexposure results in a shift toward yellow. This film is designed for creative experimentation and is developed using the standard C-41 process.
