Animal rescue is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever been a part of—but it’s also one of the hardest. It’s emotionally exhausting, physically demanding, and often financially draining. There are days when it feels like no matter how much you give, it’s never enough. We see things most people don’t: animals abandoned, neglected, sick, or injured—completely dependent on someone stepping in to care.

Update 06/04/25 9:00 pm Update: This beauty has been diagnosed with Stomatatis and also has lots of dental work to be done. Lulu is in rough shape. She is currently in emergency fostercare. Lulu will be going to our vet tomorrow /Thursday, then to a long term foster home. Update 06/03: Mount Carmel Veterinary Hospital is willing to examine this cat for $75.

Update on Baby Roary:We’re thrilled to share that Roary is doing wonderfully in foster care! His foster parents adore him—so much so that we thought it might turn into a foster fail! He’s a sweet, playful little love bug who also happens to be fearless—Roary isn’t even fazed by large dogs! Roary will be available for adoption after he’s neutered.
