I'm not going to engage with you anymore. Russia is a bad actor, they're behind a lot of the shit going on in the world right now. If you're on their side, then you're against peace, democracy, free speech and human rights.

Hamas attacked Israel. Iran backs Hamas. Russia backs Iran, and vice versa. There are some who believe that Russia encouraged Iran to encourage Hamas to make Oct. 7, taking the world's focus off of Ukraine. I don't know if that's true, but if so it worked.

Trump IS the legal basis now, SCOTUS made it that way. Trump says, "They're narcoTERRORISTS trafficking a weapon of mass destruction, using funds they raise to support Middle Eastern terror groups that want to kill everyone you know and love!" and that becomes the justification.

Canada should definitely play a role in fighting climate change and at least make an attempt to reach our targets, but sadly - and Carney knows this - our efforts mean nothing in the global scheme. Climate change is happening no matter what we do. We're also a winter country and resource economy.

The progressive market is there, it just doesn't have an investor. And it's a great market - billionaires save their money while the poor and middle class spend theirs and are the most important market for goods and services.

There's got to be at least one good progressive billionaire out there who has the resources to take on Big Fascism - start a news network, a streaming service, buy a few papers and radio stations, etc. Honestly, over 60% of people aren't represented in MAGA world and for some issues it's over 90%.

It's not surprising. The CPC is actively rooting for Carney to fail which means, at a critical time like this, they're rooting for Canada to fail. They'd rather rule over the ashes than see us succeed.

This was a political stunt, nothing more or less. Once again the CPC is showing they'd rather play stupid Parliamentary games than propose a single effing thing that could help the country. By forcing this vote they're actually endangering pipeline negotiations.

Israel only supports Israel and there are some areas - e.g. Syria - where their interests align. Still pretty fucking terrible, but with Trump nakedly pro-Russia, and Europe standing up for Palestine, Israel feels safe waving the flag for Putin.

There are lots of winning messages the Dems can use, but enforcing antitrust laws, breaking up media and tech monopolies, bringing back the Fairness Doctrine, etc. should definitely be among them.
