So if someone is traumatized by me calling them "Sir" or "Madam" or whatever, they either need to deal with their problem OR not go out into society. I am owed that level of respect by them. THAT is the basic respect level we are all owed. NOT "cater to my mental illness".

If someone walked up to me, said "Hello" and stabbed me, making me bothered by being told "Hello", it would be unreasonable for me to hit you in the face if you said "Hello". I need to deal with my trauma instead of forcing YOU to deal with it.

In a way, I agree with you about basic respect. Basic respect is not pushing your problems on other people. Deal with your own problems.

I listened to it and he did slip and say it but he clarified that he was talking about inciting violence. But I admit I understand why it was done but I don't like it. Inciting violence is a crime, but burning flags, in and of itself, should not be.

Yeah, I love the moment they resort to name calling. The leftist definitions explains it all. The moment they have nothing else but names, they know they lost. Their argument has no merits.

CIS gender is a slur and an insult. The moment you say that, it immediately changes the conversation to a hostile one. I know *YOU* don't mean it that way, but we know your kind invented it as an insult and an attack.

If they are actually different than they appear, then they succeeded at representing what they wish to be. Great! If they are as they appear, then they need to do a lot to change and until that point, don't expect people to call you otherwise. Putting on a wig or whatever does not count. (part 2)

I do know a hand full of trans people, and because I know them, I try to say what they want. But it is hard because I know it is false. So I slip on occasions. Since I care about them, I try. (and usually succeed)

If someone looks, sounds, and acts like a gender, I will call them that. (part 1)

Everyone has pronouns (except for me, I have amateur nouns) but I believe he means people trying to force the use of their "preferred" pronouns on others.

A man saying "You MUST call me she/her" is what is a problem.
