Responding to natural disasters - well now, that is exactly what government is designed to do. I would much rather my tax dollars go to help my neighbor, rather than terrorize them.

Well first of all, we are mandated to carry insurance when there is a mortgage or when we own a car. We should be able to opt out. Also, I think communities, family, friends should be able to form cooperatives to self insure.

The use of the word "Insubordinate" tells us all we need to know about what this man thinks of a free press. I would like to see the press simply stop reporting what he says. He only lies. They need to get other sources.

There will come a time when we realize for-profit insurance is not a reasonable or sustainable solution. It rips up the social contract entirely putting all the risk on the homeowner and community and none of it on employers, banks, insurance companies or providers. It is a rigged game.

Most of us will never be in a position where we have the resources to independently save 400,000 children. Elon Musk is and instead of saving children, he chose to kill them. Is there a clearer modern day example of evil?

I was a Board member of a county soil and water district. My spouse received a yearly grant of about $2,500 from the Board for a local cover crop research project. Whenever this program came up for renewal, I exited the room. My god, the level of GOP corruption is mind-bending - and disgusting.
