How are you liking the Nintendo music app? Are there any games you are looking forward to having added to the app? I’m personally hoping Xenoblade music is added soon.

My seven year old loves it. She loves finding the new outfits and just riding around exploring the world. I just wish it had split screen so I wasn’t getting kicked out of playing when she decides she wants to go back to just roaming.

These aren’t puzzles. They are all some sort of race challenge. Collect coins in a time limit, race a lap while hitting gates in a certain time, run a piece of track within time while flooded with enemies. The trickier ones I’ve found so far are the precision timed wall riding challenges.

I think it’s all about expectations. Are they great in depth gameplay? no. Are they quick little spurts of Mario Kart joy? Yes. I do wish they had better progress tracking and record keeping. All they have is a counter on the map for completed missions.

Greetings Shack! I hope everyone is enjoying their Switch 2s as much as my household. Question for the show, does anyone remember mission mode in Mario Kart DS? This is a mode I’ve wanted to see again in a Mario Kart title, and the P switches in free roam definitely scratch that itch a little.

Greetings Shack! I hope everyone is enjoying their Switch 2s as much as my household. Question for the show, does anyone remember mission mode in Mario Kart DS? This is a mode I’ve wanted to see again in a Mario Kart title, and the P switches in free roam definitely scratch that itch a little.
It does not. The Switch 1 joycon will not wake the Switch 2 either so I don’t know if they will be able to patch that feature into an older controller.

I loaded the latest beta firmware on my 8bitdo Ultimate and it now connects to Switch 2 with no issues.

Two questions. Does the new active battle style in Pokemon Legends Z-A make you more or less interested in the game? How do you feel about this entire game being contained in one large instead of a whole region?

What do you think Nintendo has named the mouse feature on Switch 2 Joycons? If they don’t call it Joycon Drift it’s a missed opportunity.
