What do you mean "up to a point"? Sure paying for gamepass makes no sense if you only want Black Ops 6, but if you play more than 5 games per year, it saves money and will continue to be the cheapest way to play a lot of good games.

Also PC is not a good answer if cost is a concern.

Gamepass still provides these games at a significantly cheaper cost than retail
