So Netflix wins the battle for Warner Studios. I’m not sure consumers will be winning anything from the consolidation of content creators, but very glad David Ellison and his Saudi / Middle Eastern investors didn’t get control of yet another major media source for the US.

People are speculating Trump will push out Pete Hegseth and Kash Patel for being the insecure, incompetent jerks we knew them to be. Every piece of evidence about Epstein just confirms what we already knew: that Trump was neck deep in raping and sex trafficking women all through the 90’s and 2000’s. Trump even ran a modeling company, Trump Model Management, to “acquire” girls he wanted to exploit. This isn’t a secret anymore.

As I watch For All Mankind on Apple TV, I see an alternate history where America kept moving forward on spaces exploration and human rights (in some cases and not in others). But it shows how much more advanced we could have been as a society very easily with common purpose and reasonable leaders.

A lot of Trump voters are suffering after just 9 months of Trump 2.0. If Kamala had won they would be even angrier and more disruptive. But their suffering seems the only way they MIGHT learn that taking society backwards was a really bad thing to do.
