Ornstein confirmed he wasn’t being pursued as a wingback so it does beg the question of how a winger is going to be used in the current system. Either way I’d like to see him at OT but not at the expense of a CDM who should have been a priority purchase for at least 3 years at this point.

I have additional questions about “long term” and “the system” given how it’s been reported Amorim wanted Semenyo but not as a wingback meaning after 13 months of round pegs in square holes he’d apparently be willing to switch it all up to accommodate one player.

Aye, I think it’s fair to say that Lammens is an upgrade but that he could also have done better at times - he’s a young, inexperienced keeper who is still developing. I’m hoping he and Vitek can push each other next season.

I remain of the opinion that he should have been moved out last summer with a more traditional Amorim box-to-box replacement coming in. It remains impossible to truly judge the manager based on this Frankenstein team, but his inability to get a tune out of anyone bodes very poorly for his future.
