I'm impressed how people combine scientific careers and parenthood and I love seeing babies at conferences. However, what I would love even more if everyone had access to appropriate parental leave.

I had a week off and didn't look at my emails a single time, yay! Instead I did some more amateur painting. Really enjoying the process, letting myself be surprised by the final outcome, lots to learn. This one is for my neighbour, all our kids crabbing last summer.
