After maybe 5-6 hours of resetting spawns and 2 shiny Venipede phases, I finally found the shiny Alpha Whirlipede.
Shame I found on whilst on the bus to work though cuz the gasp I let out when I saw those green rings, I must’ve looked like a crazy person.

I also did a quick shiny Mareep hunt. I know there’s the guaranteed shiny Mareep as part of a side mission which I’ve already caught, but I’ve never really liked guaranteed shinies personally.

If I had a nickel for every time my first shiny in a Pokémon Legends game was an Alpha, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

My first shiny in Legends Z-A is an Alpha Swirlix! My first shiny in Legends Arceus was also an Alpha. That was an Alpha Buizel.
