It wouldn’t be Relay if I didn’t get a photo of the HokieBird. I always let him know how much he meant to my Mom and how he always put a smile on her face when she was having a hard day. My final total raised for this year’s VT Relay for Life was 1,326. 💜💜💜

Yesterday made for a beautiful winter Saturday afternoon for a hike along the Yadkin River in NWNC. It was so peaceful and all I could hear were birds and the flowing water. Made me forget the ugliness of this country.
