Ash Sarkar is absolutely correct: We can’t call out the awful crimes against humanity on one side while ignoring appalling ongoing humanitarian crisis on the other.

On a call with my sister we talked about how the saying should be, “no rest for the light workers ✨.”
We may feel weary, but it’s not who we are.”
That said, we MUST rest, because the work goes on. It’s a long game.

I’m quite sober about our current reality here in the U.S., but from my work in mindfulness, I know that our energy goes where our attention goes.
We can’t dream up creative solutions to the world’s problems without believing there is #hope to change them.
