I don't understand why university leaders think that throwing trump a few bones will somehow free them from MAGA. Defuding and delegitimizing intellectuals and liberal education and the institutions where they live IS the goal of MAGA. Universities must be brave enough to confront this fascism

As a physician I have always been guided by rigorous science, backed by data to make clinical decisions. The current descent into idiocracy, where science is secondary to conspiracy theories and populist theories, is soul crushing. Pray that we don't have another pandemic with these clowns in charge
