Today, I've got REALLY EXCITING NEWS.
I'm currently setting up a display case inside a brand new (hopefully opening this Wednesday, if weather and life will cooperate!) shop full of handmade creators and artists.
Creatives Collective, just north of 9 Mile, on Woodward in Ferndale.

TONIGHT! One of my very favoritest shows of the year. Come out and say hey. Small, handmade vendors of allllllll kinds. Plus a great little food cart.
I'll be set up with a smallish display, since I'm still recovering after surgery. This is sort of a test run to see how I survive hauling my stuff.

I've been slacking on chain maille makes because I have been working up this crochet commission. I sort of was hoping the client would tell me they hated it... so that I could keep it myself. I did not want to take it off.

I'm going to TRY to take it a little easy this year, but I've already got a number of events lined up, including one next Friday! I love events at the Arcadia Collective because it's small, easy to set up, and very chill, while being the most open, accepting group of people on the planet.

I'm testing out using cotton/muslin bags instead of the plastic organza ones I've been using. Tried out a rubber stamp to brand them... or should I leave them blank so they can be reused for other things?

Finally made a Jelly Cube in stainless steel! It's going to be a toss up between this and the MaxiCube for "most satisfying".

Sometimes when I really want to make a thing, I buy a kit for it, so that I subtract all the planning stages. I got this kit a while ago and finally made it up. I might need to make more of these. I have a couple more rivolis somewhere around here.

I'll be closing down my Etsy shop as well, until I feel like I can take on a few small pieces at a time.
