Believing they were "saved" gave people a sense of being better than others. Why did they need it? Maybe they felt less than or were just hateful a-holes, but either way, they needed something to hold over others. If it were just about loving others as yourself, then Evangelicals wouldn't exist.

We need laws in place to protect us from lawless leaders. We need to show the world we can be trusted by getting rid of the criminals: POTUS, SCOTUS, and the Republican Party. That said, I know we won't be trusted again in my lifetime.
