Saw Black Phone 2 tonight and dare I say it, I think I loved it even more than the original? The story was SO good. Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw are a powerful duo. Scott Derrickson is an incredible director. This was everything I wanted and more!

Apparently readers dislike the phrase "their smile didn't meet their eyes." I find it wonderfully unsettling, but I guess some people think it's cringe? Anyway, reading is subjective 😹

To me, it's not enemies to lovers unless your enemy has: killed your allies, set your home on fire, and dragged you into hell all because you pissed them off. Shoutout to Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader, which truly did this RIGHT! 👏
