And I feel like the host’s only “contribution” to the entire show is the terrible charity timer bit. The whole thing is weird.

I mean it’s a solid show with some fantastic technical feats and great performances, but yeah… Hollywood loves stories about Hollywood

Especially when there hanger been some terrible unfunny drawn out presenter and host bits that dragged. I’d prefer to hear more from the winners than the presenters.
