Had a fantastic, festive day! Dear friends came for lunch and we all decorated our tree, made scotcharoos, listened to a few carols, talked plants & caught up on life. Deeply nourishing to my soul, and a huge head start on prepping for hosting 3 family parties during Christmas/Yule! 🎄🎁🎉

Today I bought a plush demon reindeer at the weed shop, and he's so cuuuuute! 🤩 so I named him Humbug and now he's gonna be my mascot/companion for all my Yule hostessing. 🎄🎁🦌

💔🦃 Welp, my Thanksgiving sucked! Days of stressful prep caused a violent stomach bug that kept me home from the family gathering, & all I ate for the holiday was yogurt & water. But I slept a lot, and have much to be grateful for - especially my lovely spouse who took care of me all day. 💕

I'm cleaning today, & Bazil likes to keep me company by lounging in a makeshift cat bed on our kitchen peninsula. This way I can pet him while brainstorming tasks, & he can get wound up, chew on my arm, and run away. 😼
