Started A Dark and Secret Magic by @wallisimo.bsky.social and nearly fell over because of Kate’s cat named Merlin. Here’s my Merlin who we lost a few years ago, but was such a joy.

I don’t want to hear anything about “immigrants stealing our jobs” when 🍊 is literally stealing thousands of jobs, and closing departments and services that Americans benefit from.
NIH appears to have canceled/postponed all of its study sections—the independent review panels that approve federal grants for health research.
Such grants fund the work/salaries of 300k people at more than 2,500 institutions
