My mom was a die hard football fan. Then a few years ago she started to HATE football. Today she’s suddenly obsessed with wanting to watch the Super Bowl. Can’t imagine why 🙄

It’s wild to lose a parent to MAGA. 10 hours daily with conservative talk radio on the earbuds. I can never be right when I’m fighting against the voices literally in her head.

Just started Thanksgiving getting a lecture on the moral merits of Elon Musk and how he’s going yo save us all from government waste. From a person who vocally hates electric cars and thinks we should stay in the gas and oil age forever. Because change is socialist. Or something.

I can live with all this. Except my kids have been up since 6:30 and I don’t have coffee 😭

I want to get to a point where my family and I could survive on our own. Like it don’t want to. I really like Nutella. And Doritos. And a good beer or wine. But I want to know I have the skills if I ever needed them.
