Can’t speak for the smaller trucks but my Lightning has zero issues with 4 people and small bags.

We are a family of three so there’s no issue using the frunk or rear seats for luggage if needed. But I also have a tonneau cover that is ‘nearly’ water tight. In that the car wash jets do get through. However, my bag gets wet being handled by the airport as well so I’m not sure why we’re worrying.
