When people hear I teach Middle School, they turn their head 20° to one side and ask how I do it. I like to vary my responses. “I’m crazy” “I clip coupons and set my thermostat low in the winter” “Lots of violent threats and bribes”

Yeah, it felt like March Madness … until I realized how little time they’ve played together. I think we’ll gel more as we get deeper into the season.
