I always liked the way William Stringfellow put it that the demonic are the powers and principalities of the world that lead to death, and to be demonically possessed is to be in service of some form of death.

Growing up whenever we moved and had to find a new place my parents number one rule is no family on the staff. Instant no. The few times they relinquished it. Well always regretted it. lol.
