If you happen to renew your passport successfully and manage to change your gender marker, please for the love of god don't post about it online.

It’s important to be clear that TikTok could have stayed up through the inauguration. Joe Biden said he’d not enforce the law.

They made a choice to shut down and display a pro-Trump message. They weren’t forced to.

CapCut is also gone, guys. This TikTok ban has taken so much. It's time to take back the seats of Congress.

Only a guilty man censors before a transition of power. This is an atrocity, and the government is taking away life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Not to mention, a free press that easily accessible to millions.

Late stage capitalism is on the decline. This is proof. Let's watch it burn 🔥

Let's not forget that Trump initiated efforts to ban TikTok in the United States during his presidency in 2020 bc of national security concerns. The Trump administration claimed that TikTok could potentially share user data with the Chinese government, and now he's going to "save it?" Spare us 🖕

Just a reminder of some of the context around the TikTok ban: In 2020, Trump tried to ban it via executive order a couple months after K-pop fans used it to organize fake signups to Trump’s Tulsa rally, which led him to publicly overestimate how large the crowd size would be.
