On holiday in Swansea every day. Music, Rugby, Grandlads. I am not at home to racists. Thankyou.

For me, "You've Got My Number...", is my favourite.

Hollywood Bowl. Same thing 😏

I remember this. Alas, my nailed-on opinion that singers must be able to sing, prevents me from praising it.

I'd love to see a reform too, but without the sublime skill of the bassist, I don't see it could possibly be equivalent. Would still queue all day, in the rain, for a ticket though.

Mozs, "The Q Is D", live at - going to say the Palladium? NY. Drummers are my great love, and that one is top 3.

Well. Now we're talking. Amazing song from a brilliant band. I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

The PW book is interesting, because it's written from the pov of many friends, colleagues and family of William John Weller (fact!). They don't mince their words, either. It has value

A band I appreciate more every day. Literally. They get even better.

❤ always. My brother claimed this band as his own, (he was 12), and so I'm not allowed to like them to this day. (Got all their albums upstairs) 😉

@mickeyundertone.bsky.social Yeah, I still think, "Mickey Bradley Record Show". Nobody made me, it's just how it is.

I quite like the ramshackle, shed-recording atmosphere of it.

'twas. I love that book. Still waiting for the audiobook...
hopsail.bsky.social
Is that it? It's a terrific book, actually.
hopsail.bsky.social
Is it different to the original?
hopsail.bsky.social
Although, those three aspects are all the same thing, really.

Debsey Wykes is mentioned a lot in the Paul Weller book. I missed Dolly Mixture somehow, but they're clearly well connected.

Gee, thanks. Like I needed the reminder. Boo to you. ❤

...meant, "hold wild word", obviously.

Pah, Brother Michael. I bore on endlessly about how 'More Than This' is my favourite song in the hold wide word, and yet you persist in playing anything else when given the birthday opportunity, (Bryan's, not mine). I say Pah, again.

Sophists? I know that's a thing, but I'd need to look it up.
