Oooh. I’m going to check that out!!!

I want what I can’t get nor make—a crunchy Chips-Ahoy, a simple glazed raised donut, Red Vines (WHY is there wheat flour in red licorice??), or a can (ANY can) of comfort-Campbell’s soup (you have flour in Chix & RICE?!?).
Start with the simple fixes, then go big.
Otherwise your metrics are off.

Similarly: companies that try to offer GF food (ain’t we nice). Please don’t make an outrageous double-double-chocolate-chunk monstrosity (Starbucks) then, when no one buys it, say, “welp, we tried. I guess there’s no market for GF food. ”
Not true —it’s just that we don’t want THAT food.

But no.

Just make the simple, necessary element work, @apple.
Stop fixing things that ain’t broke, please, but for goodness sake, please DO fix the things that are!

Thank you for the confirmation! Viewing in my phone it was harder to tell. I was just in a thread on Reddit talking about how hard it is for younger people who came of age in our current, more-corporate/grabby webscape to be able to find quality content.
Another excellent example of why that’s true.

Grrrrrr

I’ve never had Google serve something like this to me nearly next to each other on the same page.
These days it feels like if it’s not content thieves then it’s AI-Slop. And little else.

I want BlogRolls back so I can avoid algorithms!

Yes please!

Oh! And near the end—about 16 min left—a character will talk about society at the time the book was written (1925) that will either make you very happy to know that nothing’s changed since 1925 or quite freaked out that it hasn’t.

That was SO MUCH FUN! I was just thinking about you this weekend! 🥰
