I just watched The 12 Disasters (of Christmas) and holy crap, I wish there were a @disastergirls.bsky.social episode on it. A small town of biblically named people must be saved by a girl named Jacey from 12 disasters warned of through the 12 Days of Christmas song, as foretold by the Mayans. Wild

With many of my streamers quietly auto-renewing annual subscriptions, getting an email from Shudder reminding me of the coming charge is really refreshing. It’s nice that their business model isn’t subscribers forgetting they exist

I finally watched The Meg 2: The Trench and how did I not know that it has an end credits song talking about the movie and performed by one of the cast members? It’s not Deep Blue Sea or Men In Black, but I feel we should celebrate these victories.

I finally got around to watching No One Will Save You, and wow, it was fantastic. I’ve just been sitting with it for an hour and I am still a bit wrecked.

Last night I rewatched Triangle, and it really resonated with me. Of course it hits 2 of my favorite genres with aquatic horror and the big reveal.

Rewatching A Cure For Wellness, and I can’t decide if it’s good. It’s very beautifully shot boldly checks many boxes for me. I keep pausing it to do something else and then staring at the paused frame in wonder.

It’s been a good weekend. My hands are cramped and cut and scraped from a weekend working on my car, dry from an evening in flour making ravioli for friends, and now hot from capsaicin after making chili for family.
