This is life for most racehorses: locked alone in a 12×12 stall for over 23 hours a day. Naturally social, herd animals reduced to solitary confinement—deprived of movement, companionship, and freedom. This is #AnimalCruelty #EndHorseracing

🚨🎬🐴Another action today & once again, it’s at Mahoning. Like Mo, Montauk Cove is 12yrs old. This poor boy has already been raced an unconscionable 107 times – with #108 scheduled for tomorrow @ 2:30 (6th race). If we don’t speak for these animals, who will?🐴🎬🚨

🚨In the 8th race at Los Alamitos Saturday, 4yr old Stanley Cartel “took a bad step & fell.” Despite the chartwriter's claims that he was transported off the track, he was euthanized where he lay. The killing doesn’t stop. #EndHorseracing. 🚫🏇

4 Thoroughbred tracks were open for business on Thanksgiving Day. At least 1 horse was killed in the process. Churchill Downs 3yr old Operation Sunrise “suffered a catastrophic injury to his right foreleg & was humanely euthanized.” #EndHorseracing 💔🐴 🕯️

In perhaps the worst of it, racehorses are kept locked –alone– in tiny 12×12 stalls for over 23 hrs a day, making a mockery of the industry claim that horses are “born to run, love to run,” a cruelty all the worse for being inflicted on naturally social, herd-animals like horses. ❌🏇🚫

At Penn National 4yr old Awesome Harry “sustained an injury” & was subsequenetly transported off the track in the equine ambulance. His fate is still unknown — but as we know far too well, many who leave the track this way never make it out alive. 💔🐴

2yr old Five Bars was killed @ Belmont Park. The Gaming Commission reported that she “fell near the 7/8 pole injuring her neck – catastrophic.” Belmont hasn’t held a single race this year due to the ongoing rebuild, yet 27 horses have been killed there!

3yr old Grace the Law never made it out of the 9th race at Gulfstream alive. After “losing action” mid-race, she was pulled up & euthanized right there on the track. Another young life taken for gambling & entertainment — 💔🐴🕯️

4yr old Heavyweight Champs “sustained a catastrophic injury & was euthanized on the track.” 2yr old Cara’s Dreamchaser was injured “vanned off,” & later confirmed dead, sustaining an “apparatus failure” & multiple fractures.

Another life lost at Santa Anita. 💔
5yr old Starry Heaven fell while training on Sunday & has been reported dead. She is now one of 45 horses killed at California tracks this year alone.
This is not sport — it’s systemic cruelty. 🚫🏇

4yr old Ocala Rocket “was injured into the far turn,” “pulled up while in distress,” and was euthanized on the track — his 20th time being forced to race. Another life taken for gambling and entertainment.

Gotta Lotta Tempo & Cielo, both just 2yrs old, were killed after suffering catastrophic injuries on the track — both during their very 1st races. Their so-called “connections” received condolences. Their jockeys kept riding. The races went on.
