Being 9 months pregnant buys you a whole lot of grace at work, in public, among other adults. But young children give literally zero f**ks.

Garbage officiating, this game! All the way around.

Reaaaalllly hate how the NFL is just not showing penalty replays anymore because they got so much flack for bad calls. The solution is to make better calls! They didn't even show the DPI replay on a 40+ yard penalty!

I've always said that I'd prefer my team to do badly in preseason than to do well, so they know where they need work and don't go into the regular season overconfident.
Looks like another season I don't have to worry about the Colts being too successful in preseason... 🥴

If I had a dollar for every time I saw a variation of "doctors agree most pregnant women experience X symptom during pregnancy and say it's probably due to hormone levels, but it's never been formally studied" across three pregnancies, I'd be able to fund my own study on pregnancy hearing loss!

Here's my parenting hot take (that shouldn't actually be a hot take): things like screen time, eating processed foods, number of hours playing outside, etc, are all on the ~10th tier of importance. That's not to say that they don't matter, just that they are way, way less important than...

I understand why people see Juneteenth as a black holiday, but it's not. Juneteenth is an American holiday - it's celebrating our country finally living up to the promise of its founding. A land where all men and women can be free. 🇺🇸

Look, I really didn't expect to say this at any point in the series, but the Pacers just look like a better team than the Thunder in every phase of the game. I expected the Pacers to have to pull off some Game 1 magic all series to have a chance, but MAN. YES 'CERS.

I've seen enough. Put Haliburton on the state flag.

My heart goes out to every sports writer who was putting the finishing touches on their "turnovers cost Pacers game 1" piece when they saw Haliburton get the ball back in a one-score game. Good luck meeting your deadline with those re-writes, fellas

PACERS DO IT AGAIN. UN. BE. LIEVABLE. WE ARE WITNESSING GREATNESS. THIS IS HALIBURTON'S WORLD AND WE'RE ALL JUST LIVING IN IT.

The off-ball contact they're allowing Bridges to get away with on Haliburton is NUTS. If it was Brunson there'd have been 4 whistles by now!

Jim Irsay’s legacy is about mental health, and don’t take it from him or me but from Colts star after Colts star who discovered strength in being vulnerable.

I’ve spent the past 4 years chronicling those stories. This was Irsay’s culture:

Jim Irsay's legacy is about mental health. It's a gift few pro sports owners can give
Jim Irsay will be remembered for his Super Bowl, music, eccentric speech and philanthropy. But his real legacy is in his mental health conversations.

Okay fine, I'll weigh in on Adolescence now that everyone else has stopped talking about it.
Kids age 15ish and under are basically just acting out what they see from mentor/parent figures. If your boys are misogynist, first look in the mirror, and then question who you've let them be mentored by.
