Yup its exactly this. As much as I don't like it, it is the unfortunate reality we built as a society. We dont get to turn off the oil industry in 5 years. The mayor in the city that I live in still wants us to be fully car dependent. The idea of a LRT and less cars is very scary to conservatives.

But realistically we both work full time jobs. If we do make something out of this, it wouldn't be full scale production with numerous suits a year. But! It would be a great way to fund things like cons.

We just haven't been making suits long enough to make a retirement plan out of it lol.

The exchange rate isnt doing me any favors ontop of it all.

So, as they say, "just do it yourself" and im like ya, you know what? Fuck it.

Maybe we will get gud. Maybe Bogart and I can side hustle it. Maybe we can make a name for ourselves in the market.

Commissioning any future fursuit is getting more and more out of budget with numerous reasons as to why costs have gone up. I definitely get it. Makers deserve to be able to make money that can actually support their life and living expenses.

But! Im not a wealthy furry by anymeans.
