Day 9 song by a fictional or virtual band

Spinal Tap - Stonehenge

Just has to be this. Really enjoyed the sequel and it’s alternate take on this classic

Kemi Badenoch blames those crossing borders for our problems. It’s a lie aimed to distract.

The real issue is a system protecting the super-rich while nurses & carers can’t make ends meet. Tax wealth fairly, fund public services properly. This is how we give Britain hope again.

Glad you are enjoying the posts. It’s nice to share the memories, so many great shows in that era and I’m still going now! It’s a shame that physical tickets have virtually disappeared these days, they keep the memories alive. Schenker is a genius. It was debut line up for me with Gary Barden

It was an Atomic Tommy show, I agree Chapman was underrated, I enjoyed his time with the band. I never saw Uli with the Scorpions but I did see him play a solo show at Hammersmith in the 80s, may dig that ticket out at some point 😀

Mama’s Boys were great. Loved he McManus brothers. This was a long day Bernie Marsden’s Alaska opening early. My first time seeing Blackfoot was great, Scorpions were epic. Rained so hard during Purple but we didn’t care. Will return to Knebworth to see Maiden next year.

#gigtickets Today’s offering. Not being old enough to see Purple in their heyday, the excitement was off the charts when the reunion was announced. A wet and memorable day was crowned by a majestic performance from the legends. Not a great day for an injured meatloaf who was bottled off. #musicsky

Hell of a lyric to start the day off with! Great song.

Portland is not a war zone. I sit across the pond looking on in disbelief that this narrative has not been completely destroyed in what we see of the US media over here. Land of the free? I don’t think so, not anymore and no one brave is running the government either…

A song about love without love in the title
Phoebe Bridgers - Sidelines
The word love is not even in this song but love is all over it. I cried when Phoebe sang this at Glastonbury, so moving.

“til you came into my life, gave me something to lose”

Great times indeed. I saw Mercyful Fate headline Bloodstock Festival, they were fantastic, lived up to every expectation I had.🤘

Now that is one hell of a line up! I only got to see Mercyful Fate for the first time two years ago as for some reason I missed out I their heyday! Phil Campbell is a legend and still fun to see now!
