Overall, this is one of the better spice purchases I've made in the last few years. I'm already planning uses for the different salts, and looking forward to having some extra kick in salty dishes going into the winter months.

If you love spice, go grab some King's Crew #HotSalts.

And finally, the Habanero Salt:

Nice and hot from the jump, and then it builds. The saltiness enhances the habanero's sweet, fruity notes. Brought me back to childhood summers of watermelon with salt and hot sauce.

The heat curve makes this one for people who are unafraid to sweat.

Next up the Serrano Salt:

Very slow building, low heat - but it can definitely sneak up on you. Brighter and smokier than the Jalapeno, the sharp flavor profile is more pronounced. Not a salt for people who just want heat and no flavor.

I would love to try this in cocoa or a salad.

First up, the Jalapeno Salt:

Low heat, good flavor. Sweet and slightly vegetal. Very front-loaded, with almost no heat after the initial burst when it hits your tongue.

I can see this particular salt being really good on most things that need a little oomph, like sandwiches or dips.
