First up in our Urban Golf Designs: Central Park in New. York City. This location is SCREAMING for an 18-hole golf course. Beautiful water features that we could incorporate into the design. If you think you need a park for kids, dogs, etc. Move to the fucking suburbs. Or golf.

Update: It’s the TV, had to do a kitchen chore so I swapped the 4k Roku into the living room TV and instantly was perfect. Also WILD to watch a game in 4k as opposed to the usual 1080, could see the blemishes on the guy’s faces.

Because yeah, a google search says what you did and the HDR settings being a problem, but again, this TV is sold old Im pretty sure sure it doesn’t even have HDR.

And it’s definitely a sharper, crisper picture even in the muted colors! But I’m not going to reset the whole TV just for two channels lol

I’d be curious to move it to the living room TV which is newer to see if it still does the same thing, but that may be for another time where I’m not already comfortable watching this.

Honestly, it’s probably the TV. It’s an old LG in our bedroom that we’ve had for more than 5 years, so it’s likely it doesn’t even have HDR. Because the source is coming from a 4k Roku stick right into the HDMI port.

Strange one: We get FS1 and ESPN 4k in our streaming cable. But when I put those channels on it’s almost like it’s in greyscale. “Standard” FS1 and espn are bright and vivid and regular colors. Why are the 4k ones that way? I cannot figure it out; and even tinkering couldn’t make it look right.

College with let’s call it 350ish employees on our campus. Strictly emails.

I would say it’s 50/50 on if I open internal comms emails.

The biggest ones that catch my attention are titled “What’s Going On” or some variant because I want to know the answer events happening around campus.

Just absurdly stupid that whoever wins this coming weekend, essentially gets 3 weeks to work on their car for the championship race, because the races after don't matter anymore. Just a hairbrained playoff format for a sport that never needed one. Or didn't need one this convoluted.

Having one race decide the championship has always been stupid. Like is Joey Logano a good driver and a Hall of Famer? Sure. Is Joey Logano so good that he should have 3 titles and maybe a 4th this year because of this idiotic format? Absolutely not.

Hinch in Game 3 said something about having the Advantage in AB 19 or whatever it was, and unless the starter is dealing, AB 19 is not going to be against the starter! What advantage are you seeking there? This isn't Game 84 against the Rays.

I just hope it makes them realize they have the wrong type of team to go deep in the postseason. When the SP leashes get shorter and you see more and more of the bullpen who can strike guys out, the Tigers just haven't been able to answer. Same thing last year against Cleveland in the LDS.

Honestly, I'm amazed this wasn't worse than the car going in the swamp. The area he had to have driven it through to get to the swamp is right next to the clubhouse, walkway to the 10th tee, and driving range. I guess just lucky it was a Tuesday and happened around noon or so when it wasn't busy.

Or he got to the red circle, which is more or less a swamp, didn't realize it was swamp, and thought he could drive right throw it, to get to the road that surrounds the course on the other side of the lake/swamp. Either way. Must have been an awesome day to be at the course.

So he crashed into the red circle here, not the yellow one. Either way, he must have gone in the main gate, went down the Back 9 cart path thinking it was a road, and then saw there was no way to get across the bridges over the lake in a car, and rather than turn around and get caught, went in lol.

And based on the first picture, it looks like there were golfers on the course when it happened lol. So the guy must have gone in the main gate, went down the Back 9 cart path thinking it was a road, and went right into the pond on the Hole 13, and Par 3.
