We definitely need reinforcements. I have more faith in our recruitment process than I did a year ago so hopefully we get the right players rather than just ANY player!!

I think we’ll really miss Tinka - I like the dynamic she’s brought to the team. That said, Beth’s been well rested so ought to be able to step in fully fit!

We weren’t at our best today but still better than last season by far.
Unlucky with the OG but great to see one of those free kicks go in at last for Evelina. We had some great passing, and great passages of play - Amanda and Olivia looked great again.
Naz & Vinberg were poor

I know nothing about her but it’s exciting nonetheless based on what you’ve said. Is “AM” talking about a #10 (I hope not as I think Olivia is perfect there) or is she more of an #8 or a wide attacking midfielder???

This would definitely fall into the “not so serious” category but here goes anyway… why don’t our kits have numbers on the shorts (I asked this on Reddit a while ago)? I appreciate it’s cheaper and easier, but it makes us look unprofessional compared to the other WSL teams

She should have, but that’d mean leaving out one of Beth or Tinka and I’m not sure Martin wants to do that. I think playing Olivia on one of the wings is more appealing than leaving out Beth or Tinker in his mind. - in a vacuum, the number 10 spot should be Olivia‘s without hesitation

Jess has got the England call up that she deserves- these blocks and work rate have hopefully contributed to that. Hunt has been superb this season- a revelation under the new system/ manager
