Camille Fell Bullet is not official(?) to this story concept plot, though; I conceptualise his second corrosion as being based on Melting Love. That would be for another thread, as this one is already too long

I also have a more simple idea for a hypothetical Camille Fell Bullet corrosion. It would be him strung into a collection of screens/frames and parts of his actual attire and/or body parts, with the former showing pixelated imagery of his stream persona and latter being more dishevelled

The gun would then protrude from the shield and push the screen out before shattering it. Due to the blood surrounding it, it would first be shaped like the Zwei greatsword, but shift to look a bit like a virus (referencing computer viruses/corrupting digitally stores of “memories”)

Combining these plus the story concept, my base idea for Paula’s corrosion is a literal shield of clumps of organ meat (representative of Zwei Assoc’s specialisation in protection) with a screen/portrait frame seemingly protectively surrounded by the shield

For design, I want to keep the more drastic variance present in Yi Sang vs. Heathcliff’s corrosions, whilst still keeping the theme. This seems to be 1. the pendant EGO gift (made to mirrors for YS) and 2. blood/body clumps or organs in the EGO art for HC’s (made to human heart)

However, as more of such missions pile up due to successes from her usage of EGO during them, Paula becomes more reliant on it, potentially leading to her eventual corrosion. In that case, bullets would hit those who remember the “last stream”, aiming to make it “lost media”

Fed up by the fans of and past memories from her time with her former fixer partner, Paula manages to find an EGO—this being Fell Bullet—and considers it as a last resort solution to obscure her identity. She is aware of the dangers and initially uses it in high profile missions
November 15, 2024 at 4:30 PM
However, Camille’s fans recognise her from the “final stream” and approach her about his whereabouts. Paula does not care much initially—and if anything, is irritated—but this becomes a regular occurrence, and the annoying blue streamer begins to figuratively nag at her mind

However, I think that this would be a bit predictable (and that Paula would look better in the Fell Bullet EGO), so I took a different direction. The setting is that Paula returns to work as a fixer without much issue, since she does not depend on a “brand” like Camille does

I thought to take the burying of past memories and combine it with literal past recordings (i.e. streams), making a “lost media” motif. Especially given the setting that the duo had survived, I would think that particularly Camille would want any records of the events buried
November 15, 2024 at 4:29 PM
The Fell Bullet EGO corrosions look to be abstractions of something connected to the user (Yi Sang = Mirror Worlds/Tech. Heathcliff = human heart, possibly his feelings for Cathy), whilst the lines seem to be attempts to bury(=reject/deny) something related to it in their past

Thank you for the welcome back, and it is likewise for I; you came to my mind a few times during my absence

Thank you for the kind words and support; I shall not disappoint

In all honesty, I am no longer interested in CLQST, but I still do like how the piece turned out
October 28, 2024 at 11:43 AM
I shall keep that in mind; I appreciate the additional information. From what you’ve said and briefly skimming part of the Wikipedia page, Season 1 definitely sounds like I’d enjoy it. Apparently they are making a third season as well, though with a significantly different subject matter

Thank you for the recommendation; I shall look into it and check it out when I can, hopefully soon

Hello; I apologise if this came across as rude or crossing lines, but I just wanted to let you know that I sent a follow request as well after seeing the replies due to being interested in the OC ramblings. Do feel free to decline, of course

I searched out of curiosity, and it seems it was originally GMT/UTC+8:30 but was changed to +9:00 under Japanese rule (I had suspected this was the case), changed back to +8:30 after gaining independence, but then changed again to +9:00 due to global customs and practicality of one hour intervals
