News update: police clashed with National Guard troops outside Voodoo Donuts. An officer was yelling “you fucker, you took the last cream filled. This is our turf.” A guardsman was feared hit but it was just powdered sugar and jelly on his fatigues. A bystander said, “the horror, the horror.”
