I was thinking this morning that if America acts as an aggregate consciousness when it votes, maybe we should look for signs that it is becoming like a person who goes about the house, looking for the pair of glasses perched on their head.

Just parked up a haiku. Taking a complex idea and reducing it to a rigid geometry helps to comprehend the importance of elegance.
White wings on the ice,
