I had an engineering professor who thought his neighbor in the faculty ghetto, a philosophy professor, did baby sitting on the side.

It’s not enough to know stuff. You have to be able to use stuff you know as inputs to decision making and come up with logical conclusions and further avenues of exploration. That’s much harder than memorizing names and dates.

It doesn’t make much sense to spend $2B to artificially raise the stonk for a bonus that requires a stonk price way higher than the artificial price.

I think it was all about the xAI investment that didn’t pass. The BOD will likely still pump $8B into xAI. But that will piss off the abstainers.

I don’t think it costs much to park a car in an outlying district and wait for business to pick up. Hertz has. 84% utilization at considerably less revenue/vehicle. So, I think Waymo could have half their cars parked and still be profitable. Needs to be in every big city and replace long haul trucks

People who understand GAAP have said this is complete BS and shows fundamental ignorance.

Wolphers has a more nuanced take: likely a bubble but perhaps it will usher in a second Industrial Revolution and greatly increase wealth world wide.
